Pixar are masters of their craft. Fitting that a composer as talented as this guy would use samples from one of their movies to make a track.

Even if you’re not a fan of Up, this is well worth a listen.

Everything is a remix; you, me, all those films you love. And especially Star Wars. Oh my. After watching this you’ll wonder if there was an original idea in the whole first (fourth, whatever) film.

Old Georgie Porgie was walking around in his long, dark emperor’s cloak rubbing his warm, fat Ewok paws together randomly pointing at various movies in his collection and growling excitedly at every one of them. Stealing that scene from there, this scene from that, lifting that character from this and on and on until he had his movie. Easy. And as for Kill Bill, it’s basically the movie equivalent of a mash-up.

Who the hell decided to proclaim that breakfast was the most important meal of the day? F#ck that, sleeping in is definitely the best food your brain & body can possibly have after a very long night of abuse from various toxic substances: PERIOD!

BUT, for some of us (yes, it’s not lies!), there is the small problem of ‘WORK’, which however you try, cannot be ignored (after all, that’s what pays for more nights of abuse!), so a well balanced breakfast suddenly becomes a necessity.

Some kids’ parents try and hide the fact their young ones are a bit tubby and geeky. They see it as a failure on their part and an embarassment for the wonderful child.

Not this little guy. Not only has he recognised he resembles an animated cartoon, he’s gone and made an effort to look more like it. Clearly with his parents’ blessing.

This could of course all be a horrible case of ‘wrong place, wrong time’. But, with that neckerchief and yellow number, I very much doubt it.
