I’ve taken shrooms many, many times in my life (alone and with a variety of other drugs including LSD). I have had bad experiences during trips, but never was the entire trip “bad”. It’s usually just some sort of fear that sneaks into your perception and fucks with you for a while. The best thing to do to prevent this is to make sure you are surrounded by close, trusted friends who keep positive attitudes and who make you feel comfortable. Imho, even the worst trip is worth it to experience this fascinating state of being. It really does change the way you look at existence. When I think of the best moments of my life, shrooms (and LSD) were part of almost every one of them. ?

i wonder if people who have bad trips with shrooms have to do with personal demons they have to deal with in life, like how some believe dreaming is just the brain solving problems the brain couldnt do while awake or something along those lines.
cause there has to be a reason why some feel happy and have nice hallucinations while some freak out ?

If you really want to trip out (not literally) look up Terence McKenna’s “Stoned Ape Theory” of evolution. Fascinating stuff. Has to do with shrooms.?
