JRR Tolkien was a fucking scumbag who stole stories from the Vol-sagas. There are people who are Elves but Tolkien wanted you to forget it and think it was a joke. Icelandic is the same as it was 1000 years ago because the people wanted to keep it the same. I’m thinking many? Arabic languages are the same also, changing them would mean your death. Awesome video. However, you state at 3:45 that? the irregular verbs are not explained by any other rules in English. However, the existence of irregular verbs today stem from strong verbs in Old English, which did follow rules, namely that inflection of the verb wasn’t present in the suffix, but in the root of the verb. Our “irregular” verbs are merely the remnants of Old English strong verbs.
