Yo! This guy’s literally taking the music to the streets. Take a Wu-Tang Clan classic, an afro, guitar, mic, and some drums put them all together with some fine talent and what do you get? You get a lesson in badassery.

If I saw this guy busking in the street I wouldn’t be able to get my hand high enough for the stratospheric high-ten, no high 20 (I’d use my feet as well), I’d want to give him.

Buskers are found in most cities, performing on street corners and intercutting the bustle of city life with their musical sounds.

But what if there were instruments but no buskers to play them? Would you be brave enough to step up and do start jamming?

The people in this video do just that, stepping out from the crowd to become an amazing impromptu busking band.

Captain Ska are the band behind the ‘Liar, Liar’ song that has climbed up the iTunes charts to reach no.2 where it’s currently at. The song features footage of speeches and news interviews of Theresa May, with a ska track sung over the top.

Its lyrics cover NHS, education, the snap election and poverty levels and it’s not exactly favorable about the Tories—which is why it’s doing so well.

Pink Floyd are undoubtdely one of he most influential bands that have ever influenced, and a new exibition at London’s V&A looks at how their music and legendary live performances evolved over the years.

It’s called Their Mortal Remains and comprises a huge collection of personal items along with concept designs and hand writtern lyrics. It’s the biggest restrospective of this iconic band ever, and it’s pretty much a must-see for any fan of the band.

The music video for A-ha’s ‘Take On Me’ is an 1980s classic, it’s also ripe for parodying and turning into a meme.

Sound designer Mario Wienerroither has done his own take on it, by humorously reimagining what the music video might be like without music. And it’s hilarious.

There are rock bands and then there’s Rock Band. Not the video game series but instead an installation created by artist Neil Mendoza.

It takes the idea of rock music to its logical conclusion because it uses actual rocks, which are thrown through the air, to make music in this instance a cover of The Beatles ‘Here Comes the Sun.’

Irish music duo Rubberbandits, who have a song featured on the new T2 soundtrack, have released a new music video for their track ‘Donald in the Distance.’

Like everything these days it relates to a certain US president, and has Blindboy Boatclub, one half of the duo, interviewing a horrifying version of Donald Trump that’s straight from your nightmares.

Squidward Tentacles is the cranky octopus from SpongeBob SquarePants, not the type of character you expect to see rapping some contemporary hip hop.

Which makes this mashup from New York-based video editor Adam Schleichkorn, aka Mylo the Cat, which sees Squidward rapping Big Sean’s 2016 hip hop hit ‘Bounce Back’ all the more amusing.
