Not one to shy away from a controversy, Dan Bull weighs in on the latest documents uncovered – Predictably he thinks it’s the best thing since sliced bread and he spends nearly four toe tapping minutes rapping about why.
WTF Japan? WTF!!!??? Does the whole country get baptised in lysergic acid? Even by William Burroughs’s standards this is fucking weird.
You need to watch Naked Lunch just to come down from this and feel normal.
The man has a point. The Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement would be a nasty little ruling governing international property right law. This man describes himself as ‘unsigned, unsignable geek rapper and activist’ and yet he’s managed to put this excellent few mintues together.
And filmed on a budget of…well…nothing and with the help of friends and colleagues. He wants to make a living from his music, but wants to share it for free. Come on. Let’s put our hands in our pockets. Let’s have a whip round.
Wagner, Vagner, or whatever his name isn’t, is such an oddball. He’s like a cross between Ron Jeremy and Dog the Bounty Hunter. He can’t really speak English, and, apart from being able to reproduce roughly the same outfit week in week out, he is incapable of singing in a normal fashion.
Whatever he’s done right or wrong, though, he’s clearly had an affect on one of the world’s smartest minds. Indeed, star of QI and, well, breakdowns in Brussels – Fry is a fan of the long-haired warbler. ‘A journey of connecting all kinds of emotional shapes’, ey? Well we just thought it was a crazy Hispanic man who had slipped through the dubious net of X-Factors ‘talent’ pool. Each to his own.

Usually when someone tries to rap over something, or does an ‘experimental version’ of something it makes it approximately 400 times worse. In this case, someone has managed to make something that is already awesome, even more awesome.
And if you look carefully on the youtube comments, it would appear that someone from the film itself is showing his appreciation. Fight back that tears all you like, but we all have to admit – this pulls at the old heart strings harder than Shane Meadows ever could.
This is disturbing for many reasons. So many reasons. Firstly, there is no evidence whether this is a man or a woman. None whatsoever. Also, he/she is singing a Katy Perry song, and he/she looks strangely like a very, very fat Russel Brand.
Picture the scene – Russel starts using heroin again. Katy leaves him. He’s desperate, inconsolable. With no one to turn to, he begins eating, a lot. Then – in an attempt to win back the absent popstar, he makes this video and puts it onto the internet. Think of it as a modern day love letter. A viral piece of chivalry. I doubt it would work. So let us just point and laugh.

I’d have to be seriously intoxicated to be able to move in this manner, so I am happy to view it from the safety from my sofa. And there’s no need to worry about your own abilities, I mean, because they’re animated, right? Whatever – watch and enjoy. Especially the guy in the suit.
